Anne Lutun with Chicks 'N Sync
The AC felt great! The 23 dancers in attendance were stomping up a storm to the lively sets of Chicks 'N Sync. Britt Goodman serenaded us on hammered dulcimer and concertina; Julie Sorcek played flute and a few tunes on tenor sax; Robin Reid held down the fort on guitar. The final waltz of the evening was Winter Sunset, an original composition by Julie!
This was the first dance where Round Hill used its new credit card and mobile payment system. It works! Thank you to everyone who helped us test it out.
Our visiting caller Anne Lutun hit it out of the park with her program. Despite the smaller crowd size, she picked dances that made the hall feel big and lively. Thank you to Daniel for hosting her so that she didn't have to drive directly back to Philadelphia afterwards.
Our next dance will be the Summer Sizzle on July 27th with the Round Hill Community Band. To beat the heat, we'll have AC, ice cream, cold seltzer, and plenty of fans. See you on the dance floor!
